About This Voter Guide This Alabama Appellate Courts Voter Guide provides nonpartisan information about the Alabama appellate courts - the Supreme Court, the Court of Civil Appeals, and the Court of Criminal Appeals - and information about the candidates running for election to those courts in 2010 as supplied by the candidates. It is published by the League of Women Voters of Alabama Education Fund, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that seeks to encourage active and informed citizen participation in elections. The voter guide includes candidate information for all Alabama appellate court races that will be on Alabama General Election ballots on November 2, 2010. These include races for Supreme Court Seat 1, Supreme Court Seat 2, Supreme Court Seat 3, Court of Civil Appeals (one seat), and Court of Criminal Appeals (one seat). Links from this voter guide to candidate web sites are included for the convenience of the visitor.
