Following is the schedule and proposed plenary agenda for convention. Plenary agenda will be approved by the membership at convention.

Friday, April 26:

10:00-3:00	Preconvention Workshop on Social Media—representative selected by each local league
3:30-4:30	Trip to new federal courthouse downtown. Special guided tour of outstanding large painted murals depicted historical highlights of the area by Caleb O’Connor. Preview at http://blog.al.com/spotnews/2011/05/tuscaloosa_federal_courthouse.html. Transportation provided
6:00-8:00	Wine, cheese and buffet dinner at University Lutheran Church (across parking lot from Hotel Capstone). All who are in town are invited to attend as guests of the LWV of Tuscaloosa.


Saturday, April 27:

8:30 – 10:00	Registration at Hotel Capstone with light buffet and coffee
10:00 - 12:00	1st Plenary Session
12:00 – 12:30	Lunch Buffet
12:30 – 1:30	Luncheon Speaker Dr. Leigh Ann Poole – Health Care in Alabama
1:45 – 2:15	LWVUS Board Member Mary Klenz with Q & A
2:15 – 2:30	Break
2:30 – 4:30	Panel Discussion: Energy in Alabama
4:30 – 5:45	Free Time (rest and time on your own)
6:00 – 6:30	Reception/Banquet at Temple Emanuel (second building north of Hotel Capstone) (Guests desiring an escort to the temple should meet in the hotel lobby at 5:55pm
6:30 – 7:00	Dinner
7:00- 8:00	Guest Speaker: Mr. Robert McCurley, Director of the Alabama Law Institute (1969- And member of the Alabama Constitutional Revision Commission


Sunday, April 28:

8:30 – 9:30	Brunch buffet for registered guests
9:30 – 11:30	2nd Plenary Session
11:30	Adjourn Convention
11:31	Brief Meeting of new LWVAL Board
